Like many businesses, Jenna Kutcher's brand has evolved over the years. She had her first website up in 2011 when her business was just getting started! Her business and brand was growing, and she needed her website to keep up. Which is why she trusts Showit, and her incredible website designer – Jen Olmstead, to grow and evolve with her!

 

One of the biggest things Jenna likes to teach is to go against the grain, swimming against the current, and yet her webspace blended into the masses and it just didn't feel like her.

 

She wasn't proud to send people to her website and she knew it needed to change. Her whole vision was: high end laid back. Quality but fun! Jen Olmstead nailed that through and through! As Jenna has honed in and owned her brand (and just herself, in general) she realized she was totally done with blending in.

 

So she chose fun elements that she had never seen before on a personal website. Like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” component, a handwritten Cosmopolitan style quiz, a few little video snippets, and other pieces that just felt like her and what she loves.

 

 

Jenna's site houses everything that she does in one place: photography,  blogging, podcasting and education! There's a lot! It's a super website for a super woman. It was very important to her to have one place for everyone to go to find whatever it was they were looking for. She needed a home that housed her huge brand and felt cohesive from the first click. Running multiple brands and websites on different platforms is anything but glamorous or easy, so when she told Jen Olmstead she wanted a one stop shop, that's what she got!

“I love the mix of photos and videos to give people an actual feel of who you are. It isn't just one static image on a bio page, it's ME plastered everywhere on the site so they recognize who I am, hear my voice, and feel like they are my friend with every click of the mouse.”

“Fear held me back because I thought that transferring my blog would be a pain in the you-know-what but transferring it over from WordPress was extremely easy and way less of a headache than I imagined. I didn't have to start over or lose posts, they all scooted over effortlessly onto my new blog home!”
