When wedding days have come to pass and you're so excited to share those beautiful images, its easy to feel deflated when they don't reach far through social media. There's one thing you can do, however to make sure you give your stunning images a boost when you're posting them : credit the vendors that helped make the wedding day beautiful.

By tagging vendors on Facebook and Instagram, your images' reach can often times triple quickly. Vendors are always excited to share their work as well, especially when they're provided a high quality and professional image of the final product they created at a wedding, giving them an opportunity to sing your praises as well.

Crediting vendors not only helps you build great relationships with wedding professionals who can further your business, it's also simply great business practice, giving credit where it's due!

Here are some tips to make crediting vendors in your images easy!

  1. Have your bride or bride's coordinator send over a list of vendors – their websites and Instagram names before the wedding so you can be prepared when you want to post that image during backup.
  2. Friend and follow your bride's vendors when you receive the list so they're easy to find when posting.
  3. Do a little research and see what hashtags they're using!
  4. When posting images to Facebook, include the list of vendors in the description as well!
  5. Also credit venues by using the locations in your post locations.
  6. Linking vendors' websites in blog posts can help further your SEO.
